JFit Group Fitness Fast Facts

Registration & Schedule

Registration opens one week before each class and closes 5 minutes prior to start time. Once registered, your invoice will display the class schedule, location, and staff. You’ll also receive a calendar invite.

The schedule shows each class with its name, date, instructor, time, location, and spots available.

Membership Discounts

JCC Star and JACTIVE+ members automatically receive a 100% discount on eligible classes. Basic and Insurance level members will pay for group fitness classes at the time of registration. All discounts are applied instantly—no extra steps needed.

Waitlists

If a class is full, join the waitlist! When a spot opens, an automatic email will notify the next person in line. You’ll have one hour to claim your spot before the system moves on to the next registrant.

Cancellations

Plans change - we get it. Cancel up to 1 hour before class through Amilia with just a few simple steps. Paid participants will automatically receive an account credit.

If a Class is Canceled

If the JCC cancels a class, all registrants will receive an email notification. Paid participants will automatically receive an account credit.

Please note:

A canceled class will be removed entirely from the schedule.
If a class isn’t running on a given week, it will not appear in the schedule.
Check the Important Information section at the top of the Group Fitness Schedule for general updates and alerts.

Registering for Group Fitness Classes via the Amilia App

Available on iOS & Android

Login to your Amilia account from your Amilia app.
Select the Shop Icon.
Scroll and select the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC Store.
In the Store, scroll and select the JFit Group Fitness Schedule Program.
View the Group Fitness classes. Available classes will appear in Blue.
Click on the date and class you would like to attend, the system may require you to sign-in to your account again, then select the participant(s) to register by clicking their name(s). Be sure to check you have the correct class date.
If registering for multiple group fitness classes, click Continue shopping. Once you have registered for your desired group fitness classes, click Checkout.
JCC Star and JACTIVE+ level memberships will have a 100% class discount automatically applied to their order.
Basic and Insurance level memberships will pay for the group fitness classes that require payment at the time of registration.
Confirm all classes and dates are correct then Proceed to checkout.
Continue to follow the Proceed to payment prompts to confirm your information and payment method is up to date.
Select payment method and click Pay now.
You will see your receipt, and receive an e-mail confirmation and calendar invite.
Success - - You are now Registered for your selected Group Fitness classes!

Canceling Group Fitness class registration(s) via the Amilia App

Login to your Amilia account from your Amilia app.
Select the Calendar icon.
Select the date and class that you would like to cancel.
Select Cancel this event.
Select Terminate enrollment in Red.
You will see a ‘Success’ notification pop-up and receive a cancellation confirmation e-mail.
Repeat steps 2 - 5 above until all desired classes are canceled.
If you paid for the class(es) and canceled within the cancellation deadline, you will receive an Account Credit to be used towards a future class(es).

Registering for Group Fitness Classes via Web Browser

Examples of Browsers: Safari, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox

Login to your Amilia account using www.amilia.com from your web browser.
Click ‘Find a Store’.
Scroll and select the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC Store.
In the Store, scroll and click the JFit Group Fitness Schedule Program.
View the Group Fitness classes. Available classes will appear in Blue.
Click on the class you would like to attend, then select the participant(s) to register by clicking their name(s). Be sure to check you have the correct class date.
If registering for multiple group fitness classes, click Continue shopping. Once you have registered for your desired group fitness classes, click Checkout.

Canceling Group Fitness class registration(s) via Web Browser

Login to your Amilia account using www.amilia.com from your web browser.
Scroll to My Calendar and Click on the class you would like to cancel.
Scroll down to the calendar to view the class you would like to cancel.
A Green ✅ check mark indicates that you are registered for that class.
Click the class you would like to cancel.
Click Unregister next to your name.
You will see a ‘Successfully Unregistered’ notification pop-up and receive a cancellation confirmation e-mail.
X out of the ‘participants to register’ box, scroll up to the top right of the webpage and find the 3 bar line icon.
Select My Account and repeat steps 2 - 8 above until all desired classes are canceled.
If you paid for the class(es) and canceled within the cancellation deadline, you will receive an Account Credit to be used towards a future class(es).
