As a first time mom, choosing a daycare felt like a huge and emotional decision. I wanted a place where my daughter would feel safe, loved, and truly happy and the BECC has been all of that and more.

Now, almost two years later, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. My daughter is surrounded by so much love and kindness every single day. She’s constantly learning, exploring, and being introduced to new experiences and friendships. It’s been amazing to watch her grow.

She’s been part of the infant, toddler, and transitional 2’s rooms, and each one has supported and challenged her in the best ways. Not only is she meeting milestones, she’s surpassing them! The best part is she never wants to leave at the end of the day, which says it all.

About Our Curriculum

At the Blaustein Early Childhood Center, we believe in making learning a joyful adventure!  We use Creative Curriculum to guide learning at every age, beginning with infants and continuing through kindergarten. It is a comprehensive research-based curriculum that enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. The state of New Jersey recommends the Creative Curriculum which is fully aligned with New Jersey Early Learning Standards. Our Curriculum meets children where they are and adapts to each child's individual needs.

We understand the importance of building strong foundations, which is why our curriculum places a significant emphasis on essential skills such as alphabet recognition, numerical understanding, and color exploration. We believe that education goes beyond rote memorization, which is why learning through play is at the heart of our approach. We integrate learning through play into every aspect of our curriculum. Our preschool curriculum nurtures both academic growth and the love for exploration, which sets the stage for a lifelong enthusiasm for discovery and learning.

When our son started at the Blaustein Early Childhood Center at just 7 months old, we knew we were looking for a safe place for him to grow. What we didn’t realize was that we were finding a second family.

Almost four years later, this school has become an integral part of our lives. The community is remarkably warm and welcoming, and every year, our son somehow manages to love his new teachers even more than the last. It has been wonderful to watch him thrive through their playful, engaging approach to learning, and he truly wakes up every morning excited to head to a place he loves so much.

A huge part of this environment is the director, Adena. She is the heart of the school. She treats every concern with seriousness and takes the time to truly sit and talk through any situation. On a personal level, Adena has been a pillar for me through some very difficult times, offering support that goes far beyond her role as a director. When our second child was born, there was never a question about where he would go—he was welcomed with open arms just like his brother. We feel beyond blessed to be a part of this community.
