Welcome to Our JCrew After School Program!

At JCrew, we're passionate about providing a nurturing and enriching environment for students in kindergarten – 6th grade beyond the classroom. Our program is designed to spark creativity, foster personal growth, and ensure students have fun and thrive outside of traditional school hours.

The JCrew Difference:

  1. Creative Spirit: Students explore their interests and show off their creative skills through a variety of creative activities, including arts and crafts, swimming, sports, interactive games and cooking.
  2. Academic Support: Our counselors offer supervised homework help to ensure academic success.
  3. Character Development: We focus on growing skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication through activities and team-building exercises.
  4. Healthy Living: We promote healthy habits with nutritious snacks and fun physical activities, fostering a lifelong appreciation for health and wellness.

Our Commitment to Safety and Excellence:

  • Caring and Committed Counselors: Our after-school counselors are part of our larger JCC staff family, many of whom work as counselors at Camp Ruach as well. They are dedicated to nurturing and supporting children. Each counselor undergoes extensive training and embodies our values of respect, care, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Safe and Supportive Environment: Safety and well-being are our top priorities. Our facilities have state-of-the-art security measures; on-site security personnel and staff trained in first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Parental Involvement: We encourage open communication and welcome parents to contact us at any time.

Where the Fun Takes Place:

  • Flexible and Intentional Afternoons: Each day we have a schedule of activities and special programs. Every day, the children do their homework, run around outside or in the gymnasium and have arts and crafts and game time. In addition, each week we have an array of organized sports, creative art activities, cooking, swimming, STEM projects and full use of our outdoor space (weather permitting).
  • Outdoor Activities: Emphasizing the importance of the outdoors, we spend much of our time outside during the spring and fall, using state of the art facilities including basketball courts, gaga pits, tennis courts, large baseball and soccer fields and picnic areas.
