The JCC is Partnering with the Community to Provide Relief.
The JCC is a social service agency, and our mission is and always will be to help and serve our community. Your support for our JCC has never been more vital as we are forced to cancel events and close our facility. Such extraordinary measures have created harsh financial realities that have already begun to impact our Center. Although our physical doors are closed, the JCC is open with virtual programming available to all in the community for no fee, despite the fact that during our physical closure we have very limited income. We have partnered with the local food bank to collect food, shopping for those not able, making masks, doing check in calls and so much more. Our community depends on the JCC , and we need your help now more than ever before during this critical time. We ask you to consider making a donation now to the JCC so that our mission can continue. No donation is too small and your generous donation will have a direct and lasting impact on our local community.
The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC joins the community in recognizing and thanking all of the first responders, doctors, nurses and all medical professionals and support staff working at hospitals and medical facilities, including nursing homes and assisted living residences during the coronavirus pandemic. We also salute a special group of our heroes: all front-line workers whose dedication keeps our community going. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do, and for the sacrifices you make each and every day. You have our endless gratitude and appreciation. We hope you, your family and co-worker stay healthy and safe during this unprecedented time.
