For the month of February, we have been sharing your stories about what makes you feel good about the JCC. It warms our hearts to hear about how our JCC has touched your lives. Thank you for sharing with us.
To end the month, we wanted to share about our Membership Director, Sarah Pollak who has been involved in the JCC since she was a young child. (many years ago. We love you Sarah)
Why does she feel good about working at the JCC?
Sarah and her family spent their summers at the swim club and summer camp. She went from camper to counselor and has very fond memories of growing up here at the J. At that time, the JCC was a ‘J without walls’, offering limited programs. Fast forward to 2020, and Sarah is very proud to be part of our JCC Family. “I am often astounded at what the JCC has accomplished in just 20 years. I have been on staff since the beginning, and I’m proud to be part of the JCC’s story. Belonging to the JCC and being a member provides a means to improve physically, socially and spiritually. Each and every day I have the opportunity to meet with members that share how happy they are at the JCC because of the friendly, family vibe and welcoming nature of our staff. It is gratifying to know that our members create long lasting friendships and beautiful memories while they are here.”
