What makes you feel good about the JCC?: Crystal Quigley

Brandon Quigley’s mother, Crystal, reflects on her son Brandon’s experiences with the JCC’s programs for kids with special needs.

“Last Fall 2019, Brandon, my 9-year-old son joined in the fun at the JZone Respite Program on Sundays.  I can attest that he enjoyed the program very much.  He always came out of the session happy and eager to return the next week for more fun. He told me that he enjoys the free play in the pool and the snack.  An added bonus is that as parents, we enjoy a couple of hours to ourselves.  I was very comfortable leaving him in the care of the staff at the JCC.  I find the JCC has a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Also, last Fall, Brandon enjoyed the adaptive Hip Hop Dance Program.  At the end of the sessions, he and his classmate performed a dance for us.  The class was well done!  In the past, Brandon participated in adaptive swim lessons at the JCC. Having tried many other swim programs, I can say that the JCC swim program is one of the best around!”
