Hear about a form of resilience each week from Holocaust survivor, authors, and family members.

The focus of our program is RESILIENCE & HOPE.  How did the survivors get through that difficult time and manage to go on after those dark days? What perspectives can we learn from their loved ones?  The goal is to provide hope for people today who are scared of our current day challenges.

What's Newish

What’s Newish?  Actually Quite A Lot!

Regardless what your level of familiarity with Jewish/Israel related issues, you’re sure to expand that knowledge and understanding by participating in a newly formed discussion group called “What’s Newish.”

This current-events discussion group will meet regularly at the JCC (or Zoom) to discuss and share ideas about Jewish and Israel related topics.  We’ll discuss subjects such as U.S. politics as it relates to Israel, Israeli-Palestinian prospects for peace, anti-Semitism and whatever else is newsworthy at the time.

Along with getting a preview of how subsequent sessions will be conducted, we’ll also gather your input as to what day, time and frequency of our meetings are most convenient for the most people.  We look forward to finding out “What’s Newish” together.

This program is moderated by Peter Hercky and Doron Steger.
