VIRTUAL HAMANTASCHEN BAKE

Join us for a virtual Hamentaschen bake in celebration of Purim, right from the comfort of your own kitchen! We will prepare our Hamentaschen dough together with pre-boxed baking kits. We?ll then be filling, assembling, and molding the hamentaschen in break-out rooms .

Select your break-out room on the registration form. Baking kits available for pick up from the JCC on Wednesday, February 17.

PURIM ROAD TRIP EXTRAVAGANZA

We’re Taking Purim On the Road!!!

We’re taking Purim on the road this year! Start your road trip journey at the JCC where you’ll receive a welcome bag, take pictures in your costume, contribute a canned food item to our collection bin, and decorate your car before you head out on your ‘road trip’!

There will be 5 total stops on our Purim Road Trip Extravaganza including the Bridgewater Public Library, Temple Sholom, the Bridgewater Municipal Building, and more! There will be staff and pop-up tents at each location marking the exact location of each activity. Each car will receive a detailed map showing you where to go.

Activities include:

  • Make your own non-bake Hamantaschen
  • Design your own gragger
  • Carnival games
  • And more!

The final stop will be back at the JCC where we will test your Purim trivia knowledge! Prizes will be awarded at various points throughout the trip.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, on the road, and in your best Purim costume! This event will be happening rain or shine!

All are welcome to participate and we encourage you to register with your friends. We will make sure you and your friends travel on this Road Trip Extravaganza together!

Purim Concert with Hadar and Sheldon

Guest artists Sheldon Low and Hadar Orshalimy bring holiday happiness to the community in a virtual holiday celebration.

Hadar Orshalimy was a popular performer in Israel, with appearances on Israeli TV and at major national and municipal events. Sheldon Low is a prominent voice in contemporary Jewish music and hosts the innovative Jewish Songwriter podcast. Our students may remember Sheldon from his visits to our school. Together they bring joy and energy to their audiences across the globe.
