  • Friday, April 30
  • 5:30 PM-7:30 PM (2 hours)
  • Discounted Member : $10.00 | Fee: $15.00 (Fee is per person.)
Join us at the JCC for a Shabbat BBQ Dinner outdoors on the Camp Ruach campgrounds in celebration of Lag B’Omer. Lag B’Omer is literally the 33rd day of the Omer. The Omer, a period of semi-mourning, is counted for 49 days between the end of Passover and Shavuot. On this day in the counting, we interrupt the sadness for 24 hours and traditionally celebrate with bonfire and outdoor festivities. We will enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner, compete in some traditional Lag B’Omer relay races and activities, and enjoy delicious s’mores dessert. BYOB event. The event will follow all State Health protocols.

Shavout Celebration

  • Sunday, May 16
  • 10:00 AM-11:00 AM (1 hour)
  • Discounted Member : $25.00 | Fee: $30.00 (Fee is per Family.)

Join us in-person for a sweet start to your day as we celebrate Shavuot! We’ll read a PJ Library story, enjoy a holiday inspired craft, and make our own ice cream! We’ll start our program with a light brunch. Shavuot marks the end of the Omer, the 49 day period between Passover and Shavuot and the day in which the Jewish people received the Torah. We celebrate this pilgrimage holiday by eating dairy products, most famously blintzes and ice cream!

Zoom Link will be sent via e-mail day of event.
