Jewish Family Programs

3rd Friday of the Month, 9:30-10:30am

  • September 20
  • October 18
  • November 15
  • December 20

Join Alanna the third Friday of the month from 9:30-10:30 for a Shabbat Celebration.  Bring your child and join in the Shabbat fun with candle lighting, Kiddush, and yummy challah. Listen to a PJ Library story, participate in a craft project, and sing a couple of Shabbat songs. This is a great opportunity to socialize and meet other families in our community. This program is great for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Sunday, November 17

In the Jewish Calendar, the month of Cheshvan is the only month which does not have a Jewish holiday. As a result, it is customary to engage in social action projects, fulfilling the mitzvah (commandment) to repair the world, Tikkun Olam.

Join us for a meaningful day of volunteering with your family. Sign-up is required ahead of time for the volunteer project of your choice.

The program will kick-off at 12:30 with a short learning program and lite lunch before beginning your projects. (Note the different start time for Stein Assisted Living site).
