Jewish Family Programs

September 18 • October 16 • November 20 • December 18
  • 9:30-10:30am

Join Alanna the third Friday of the month from 9:30-10:30 for a Shabbat Celebration.  Bring your child and join in the Shabbat fun with candle lighting, Kiddush, and yummy challah. Listen to a PJ Library story, participate in a craft project, and sing a couple of Shabbat songs. This is a great opportunity to socialize and meet other families in our community. This program is great for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We’ll go apple and pumpkin picking to celebrate the conclusion of the Jewish holiday season. There will be a PJ Library story reading at 3:15 PM and then families will enjoy time at the orchards. All families will receive a Bridgewater JCC tote bag to collect your goodies.

Volunteer Farm Day

  • Sunday, November 1

In the Jewish Calendar, the month of Cheshvan is the only month which does not have a Jewish holiday. As a result, it is customary to engage in social action projects, fulfilling the mitzvah (commandment) to repair the world, Tikkun Olam. Join us at a local farm to help plant and harvest product for donation to provide hunger relief throughout the region.
