One moment can change a family forever.
Join us for a moving evening with author Moe Lajterman as he discusses 23: A Memoir, a deeply personal story of family, immigration, loss, and the memories that connect one generation to the next.
Lajterman traces his family’s journey from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to building a new life in America. At the heart of the memoir is his older brother, Marcelo Lajterman, whose life was cut short in the 1970 Marshall University football team plane crash—a tragedy that forever changed his family.
Through stories of love, resilience, grief, and remembrance, 23 explores not only what a family loses in tragedy, but what remains and is carried forward.
The evening will be moderated by Josh Leibner and will include a conversation with Moe Lajterman about the experiences and memories behind the book.
