JCC Bereavement Support Group
Details
“Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they shared and the love they brought into our lives”
Grief can feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
The Bereavement Support Group offers a caring and compassionate space for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This free, six-week, non-denominational group provides an opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges of grief, share experiences, and find strength through conversation and community.
Led by clinician Lori Beck, LSW, participants are encouraged to share at their own comfort level in a supportive and confidential atmosphere. Whether your loss is recent or you have been carrying it for some time, you are welcome to join us.
The group meets Wednesdays from 2:30–4:00 PM on September 9 and 23, October 7 and 21, and November 4 and 18. Participants may join at any time, although attendance at a minimum of four sessions is encouraged.
There is no fee to participate.
