At the JCC, community is at the heart of everything we do. Each month, our JGives Back initiative gives our members the opportunity to come together and make a real difference. In April, we’re turning our focus to our four-legged friends by supporting the Somerset County Animal Shelter in honor of Animal Cruelty Prevention Month.

Making a Difference, One Paw at a Time

The Somerset County Animal Shelter, located in Bridgewater, provides care and shelter for lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals. Their mission is to give these animals a second chance by providing medical care, adoption services, and education on responsible pet ownership. They also offer microchipping, vaccinations, and spay/neuter programs to help keep pets healthy and reduce overpopulation.

Right now, the shelter is in need of essential supplies to continue their lifesaving work—and our JCC community can help!

Giving back is a core part of who we are. JGives Back is more than a donation drive—it’s a way for our JCC family to work together, support local organizations, and create positive change.
