J-Tri  — Triathalon Camp at the JCC running-photo

  • Grades 3-7

Biking! Swimming! Running! Love these activities?  We put it all together and make it fun!  Bring lunch, bathing suit, towel, water bottle and sneakers.  Snacks will be provided.

  • Train for a mini triathalon.
  • Gain skills such as speed/agility, swimming, biking, and stretching.
  • Learn proper nutrition to fuel your body.
  • Great cross training for all athletes.
  • Great exercise for anyone.
  • Create a triathalon t shirt to wear on Friday when you complete a mini triathalon at camp!!
  • All instructors are professional trainers and fitness coaches.

Young Engineers programs provide an extraordinary atmosphere for students to build unique creations, play games, and have loads of fun using LEGO® bricks. The activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations, and build their self confidence. Children work with exciting themes such as machines, outer space and mosaics.

Cheer Nation Camp evolution-gym-photo

C-H-E-E-R!!  Join us at Evolution Training Center and learn and practice the fundamentals of cheer.  Great for boys and girls with all abilities.

  • July 24-July 28;
  • 9:00AM - 3:00PM
  • Grades 1-6
  • Drop off at 9:00AM at Evolution Gym in Bridgewater.  
  • Pick up at 3:00PM at JCC in Bridgewater 

Spend the morning from 9:00AM - 1:30PM at Evolution Gym.  We will bus you children over to the JCC in Bridgewater at 1:30 for free swim.  Cool off with an ice pop.  Family and friends are welcome on Friday at 2:45 to watch the cheer routine.  Bring lunch, bathing suit, towel, water bottle. 

  • Learn cheer, tumbling and dance routines with their trained professional staff.
  • Try out different cheer positions such as base, backspot and flyer.
  • Learn proper technique for cheer stunting and tumbling.
  • Gain confidence.
  • End the week having mastered a professional cheer routine.
  • Perform your routine on Friday for family and friends.
  • T shirt included.

Bricks 4 Kidz 

  • August 21 to 25

Calling all future scientists, architects, engineers, artists, and video game creators!  Join us for a week of lego robotics camp at the JCC.  Learn, build and play!

Stop Motion Video mornings:

  • Use FRAMES® software, LEGO® mini-figures and bricks. 
  • Work in pairs to develop an idea and turn it into an epic video.
  • Learn how to sequence and storyboard, write and edit the script, build sets
  • Shoot and edit digital pictures.
  • Add sounds effects, background music, and dialogue.
  • Fun, creativity , problem solving and learning.

Each camper will receive copies of the videos made that week on a wristband flash drive. Maximum 14 campers.

Mash-Up afternoons:

  • Build models, games and activities.
  • Themes may include, Jurassic Brick Land, The Bat League, Star Wars, Animal Grossology, Amusement Park Adventure, Minecraft, Ninjago, Pirate’s Quest and Super Heroes.
  • Experiment with different lego sizes.
  • Use motorized sets.
  • Free swim at the end of the day

On The Court Basketball

basketball-photoStay cool and have fun with basketball this summer. Join us for the popular On The Court Basketball X-perienceTM and Basketball Fitness Fun camp. This one-week program led by On the Court Basketball is designed to teach boys and girls the fundamentals of basketball. Improve your skills and gain a better understanding of the game.  First time or experienced players will have fun and improve their game. 1st to 8th grade boys and girls any skill level. 

  • Real world basketball training.
  • Fun competitions and practice games
  • Professional coaching for a truly rewarding basketball experience.

All water all the time! Summer is hot but this camp is cool!

  • Enjoy a multitude of water sports such as water polo, racing strokes and techniques, water volleyball and basketball as well as diving for delights.
  • Water balloon tosses and water races will round out the fun.
  • Learn new skills while keeping cool.
  • Join our professional swim coach and water polo expert, as well as our expert swim staff at this super fun camp.
  • Enjoy a craft activity
  • Shady breaks will be incorporated throughout the day.
  • Must be able to pass the deep water test.

  • Join our professional staff while they teach you and guide you towards a masterpiece to take home on Friday.
  • Learn different artistic techniques
  • Use different mediums such as paint, clay, markers, glass.
  • Use items found in nature to create art.
  • Enjoy an hour of free swim at the end of the day!
