Toddlers

Our Toddler program offers many choices for your 14-23 month old child to attend school. Our program includes two, three, four and five day options. Children can attend a half day (9-12), full day (9-3) or extended day (7:30am-6PM) program.

Our Toddler Program encourages cognitive, emotional, social and motor development in a warm and supportive environment. Our child centered curriculum includes music, art, dramatic play, fine and gross motor activities, circle time, story time, Jewish holiday celebrations and Shabbat.

Our curriculum fosters discovery, free choice, problem solving, positive self-esteem, and promotes independence. Our school supports the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of our students through our individualized approach to learning. We believe children learn best when they are interested. Our approach to learning uses an emergent curriculum that takes into account the interests of the children while meeting developmental learning standards.

Through classroom activities, toddlers learn to verbalize feelings, separate from parents, develop a positive self concept and participate in group activities. Skills such as sharing, taking turns, feeding themselves, and cleaning up are reinforced.  Children participate in small group center activities such as housekeeping, blocks, library, science and manipulatives as well as teacher directed activities. The Toddler Program includes Music, Gym and swimming taught by trained instructors.

Each Friday we welcome Shabbat with song, dance and a special snack-challah!

Parents can choose half, full or late stay options for our two, three, four or five day program.
