Les Mills Classes

  • CXWORX: Looking for a short, sharp workout that’ll inspire you to the next level of fitness, while strengthening and toning your body? CXWORX™ really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention- For All Fitness Levels.
  • BodyCombat: This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. High Cardio class for mega calorie burn. For All Fitness Levels.  (One-Hour Class).
  • BodyPump: A 55-minute toning & conditioning class with weights for everyone. Great Music, Great Choreography, Great Fun with Results. For All Fitness levels.
  • BodyPump EXPRESS A shortened version (45 minutes) of our Standard Bodypump class. For All Fitness Levels
  • BodyFlow: 60 Minute Class designed for EVERYONE! This class is a mix of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. By using the principles and disciplines of three martial arts, participants will feel stronger, leaner and more powerful in their everyday lives. This is a great class to compliment any exercise program or intense training due to its great results in making individuals more flexible and enhance their core. For all Fitness Levels. 30 Minute Express classes are available, see Group Fitness Schedule for day/time.
  • SPRINT: 30 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class. Face paced, participants are pushed to their limits as they move through Sprints, Power and Strength Training modes. SPRINT increases you lean muscle mass by improving muscle strength and endurance.  It tones muscles, changes your body shape and increases your metabolism, making you stronger! Pregnant women are generally advised to reduce their exercise intensity, therefore this class is considered to be contraindicated during pregnancy. A clearance should be obtained following pregnancy before undertaking any type of HIIT Training. For Intermediate-Advanced Fitness Levels.
  • GRIT - Strength, Plyo and Cardio: Three independent 30-minute HIIT workouts designed with short rounds of high-intensity exercise followed by periods of strategic recovery. The secret too ultimate resutles is not adding more workouts to your routine but increasing their intensity. We recommend two HIIT workouts a week as part of a balanced training plan. Check our group fitness schedule for days/times. For Intermediate –Advanced Fitness Levels.

Zumba and Bollywood

  • Zumba: One hour of fun fitness, while you move and groove to burn mega calories. Zumba is a class for all fitness and intensity levels. No Experience Required.
  • Zumba Toning: One hour Latin Dance while using one or three pound maracas to aid in the toning effect of all the muscles of the body. For all fitness and intensity levels.
  • Latin Aqua Fit: Move through various water exercises to the beat of Latin Music. Fun and Functional workouts using resistant properties of the water to tone your muscles and create a strong heart (cardio endurance). In our indoor pool. For all fitness levels.
  • Aqua Zumba: This is a low-impact, high-energy aquatic class. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba Class so you can really let loose! Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles. For all Fitness Levels.
  • Zumba Gold: Beginners and seniors this class is for you! Zumba Gold is a 45 minute fitness class which focuses on minimum range movements to keep those new to fitness safe, but allowing them to have a great cardio workout. Zumba Packages available for our Members over 60! For All Fitness Levels, highly recommended for Beginners and Active Adults.
  • Zumba Gold Toning: A 45 minute Latin Dance using one pound maracas to aid in the toning effect of all the muscles of the body. This class is designed for Beginner and Senior Fitness levels.
  • Bollywood: Taking from two words, Bombay(the city now called Mumbai) and Hollywood. BollyWood is India’s largest film industry. This group fitness class is the dance form used in Indian films. Today’s Bollywood dance forms combine traditional Indian classical dance and Western dance styles. This class will activate major muscle groups of the arms, legs, abs. It is filled with energy and expression which is very infections and will only spread joy to all! This energizing routine will leave you feeling invigorated, sexy and with loads of confidence. For all Fitness Levels.

Mind – Body

  • Yoga: focuses on mind-body connection while toning and stretching. Class usually runs for an hour in length. JFIT offers Yoga for beginners and Intermediate-Advanced levels.
  • Senior Chair Yoga: 45 Minute seated Yoga class for those who are unable to work out on the floor. Although this class is great for the senior population, it is highly recommend to those who suffer a body injury or who are in currently in rehab. Beginner, Senior, and those in rehabilitation fitness level
  • Pilates: This classes uses the body’s own weight and resistance to create lean and strong muscles. As oppose to yoga where positions are held to obtain maximum flexibility and strength, Pilates contains more repetitions and a variety of fitness equipment to challenge certain body parts. BOSU, RINGS, and BANDS can be added to create variety and resistance to mostly all exercises performed on the mat. We offer Mat Pilates 1 (for Beginners) and Mat Pilates 2 (Intermediate/Advanced)

KEISER SPIN

  • SPIN: Is a One hour indoor cycling class which takes the participants on a fitness journey of hills, flats, sprints, jumps, interval training, and even paced rides. Spin simulates outdoor cycling to the upbeat sounds of music in a temperature controlled and road controlled environment. JFIT offers many spin classes per week at different Fitness levels. See our Group Fitness Schedule for time/day. Please sign up prior to ANY spin class at our Welcome Desk and receive your TICKET TO RIDE, which will reserve a bike for you!

Aquatic Fitness

Aquatic fitness classes are offered Monday through Friday in our indoor pool. Temperature of our SALT-BASED indoor pool is between 82-84 degrees. Aquatic Fitness is a great way to work out in the protective and warm environment of water, while enhancing cardio vascular endurance, and working muscles through full range of movement. We have classes for all fitness levelsNEW THIS FALL- ATHLETIC CONDITIONING CLASSES-geared for those who have hit fitness plateaus or who are recovering from an injury and still want to keep their fitness level prior to injury!

  • Water Wellness: This 90 Minute workout in both shallow and deep water will exhilarate you. Combining cardio, resistance, core, balance and flexibility challenges, while utilizing aquatic fitness equipment, you will feel a full body workout! Then, finish class with a full body stretch and relaxation segment. This class can be modified for all fitness levels.
  • “NEW” Deepwater Bootcamp: Higher Intensity training options to push past training plateaus and target strength, agility, balance, coordination and speed in addition to cardio capacity. Water shoes are highly recommended. Total submersion in the water. For Intermediate-Advanced Fitness Levels.
  • Latin Aqua Fit: Move through various water exercises to the beat of Latin Music. Fun and Functional workouts using resistant properties of the water to tone your muscles and create a strong heart (cardio endurance). In our indoor pool. For all fitness levels.
  • Water Yoga: This is a 45-minute yoga class within the warmth and protective properties of the water. This class allows the participant to achieve a great stretch as well as tone overall body muscles. For all Fitness Levels.
  • Aqua Zumba: This is a low-impact, high-energy aquatic class. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba Class so you can really let loose! Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles. For all Fitness Levels.
  • “NEW” Into the Deep: This class will introduce intensifying workouts in four blocks targeting every part of the body as a unit. This class will improve your cardio endurance and strength in a fun and challenging way. For Intermediate-Advanced Fitness levels.
  • “NEW” Aqua Power – Interval Training including power and plyometric for a faster aerobic improvement creating the EPOC effect that will allow your body to burn more calories even after you finish the workout. Great workout to lose weight! For Intermediate-Advanced Fitness levels.
  • Aqua Therapy Restore – PAIN? NO MORE! Improving posture and decrease muscular or joint pain, increasing your range of motion and fascia hydration. Learn how to be your own therapist. All Fitness Levels.

Senior Fitness

Senior Vibe: A 45 minute Modified Cardio Class for Active Seniors or those brand new to Fitness. Lower cardio intensity options and no core floor work will raise heart rates for a total body workout, including cardio endurance. Beginner-Senior Fitness Level.

Senior Strength and Fall Prevention: A 45 minute class geared to help strengthen muscles, increases bone density, and enhance balance and coordination, which in turn prevents unexpected trips and falls! Senior Fitness Level.

SENIOR Cardio Circuit: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Senior Fitness Level.
