Joy McIntyre Bio PictureJoy McIntyre - Fitness Director

Joy started at the JCC in December 1999. Her primary roles were Personal Training and Group fitness Instruction.

In September 2005, Joy became Fitness Director. With this position Joy oversees Personal Trainers/Fitness Center, Group Fitness Instructors/Group Fitness programming, Aquatic Fitness Classes, and Babysitting. In addition, she is also Senior Fitness Advisor for our Senior Population.

Joy has almost twenty years of fitness experience and is certified in a number of fitness areas which include: BodyCombat, BodyPump, CXWORX, BodyStep, Spin, Pilates, Senior Aquatics, and is a certified Personal Trainer. She also has a certification in Fitness Supplementation and Nutrition.

Joy’s main objective as Fitness Director is to create a fitness environment in which the JCC Members will excel in overall Health and Wellness, and obtain all their Fitness Goals and Dreams.


Jay KellogJay Kellog - Assistant Fitness Director

Certified through AAAI Jay also is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, swim team dry land coach, and the JCCs only martial arts instructor. Although Jay s’ specialty is sports conditioning & martial arts. He is more than well equipped to help you find success in weight loss, muscle building or any other aspect of fitness. Known as one of the more intense trainers at the JCC you will be sure to be challenged and see result quickly.

 


Shari PollakShari Pollak Fitness Coordinator for the JCC

I have been involved with the JCC in Bridgewater for 35 years. I started as a counselor, my boys Alex and Evan both went to camp here, Evan is now a counselor, my daughter Danielle is still at camp in Road Rulz, and I have been a fitness instructor here for the last 6 years.

I have certifications in personal training for kids/teens, seniors and general population, I also have certifications in spin, Bodypump, CXWORX and Senior land and water classes.

Laura BrathwaiteLaura Brathwaite - Aquatic Fitness Coordinator/Group Fitness Instructor

Laura is certified in Water Aerobics and a Group Fitness Instructor. She teaches Wet-n-Fit and Water Aerobics for all ages.




Gina CastellaniGina Castellani - Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer

I've been with the JCC since 2004 (8 years) and I am AFAA certified in Group fitness instruction and personal training, Keiser certified in Spin, Les Mills Body Pump, PIA certified in Pilates Mat 1, AAAI certified in Child & Teen fitness, senior fitness and sports nutrition.

 


Denise Hitch

Denise Hitch - Yoga Instructor

Denise Hitch is a certified Hatha yoga instructor and founder of Yoga Destiny, LLC. Her introduction to yoga began in 1998 in New York City. After practicing for many years, she became certified as a Hatha yoga instructor in 2008 and has been teaching yoga at the JCC for 2 years.

Denise also studied techniques, teaching methodology, and child development as part of the “Bright Yogis” children’s teacher training program.

 


Heidy JaramilloHeidy Jaramillo - Zumba Instructor

Hi, Im Heidy Jaramillo and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you\ll see what I mean. You don\t even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It's easy! Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast! I look forward to meeting you!




Amy KesslerAmy Kessler - Group Fitness Instructor

I've been working at the JCC for 3 years where I started working in fitness as a floor attendant. I became a certified personal trainer and a certified BodyPump instructor in 2010.

Jane SchneidermanJane Schneiderman - Group Fitness Instructor

I have been involved in the fitness program since before the facility opened. I have been teaching fitness classes at the JCC for three years. I currently teach Spin, Bodycombat and Bodypump.

 


Ron Shyken

Ron Shyken - Personal Trainer

Ron has been with JCC since it opened in 2000, having 12 yrs as an AAAI certified personal trainer.  His certifications include Older Adult Fitness, Kettlebells, TRX Suspension, Resist-A-Ball CORE I & II, Total Body Strength Conditioning, Weight Training, and Sports Nutrition as well as attending several yrs of Perform Better Functional Training at Parisi Speed School.  Ron has also had experience training teens.


Aviv WagnerAviv Wagner - Personal Trainer

I came from Israel 5 years after serving 7 years in the Israeli  Air Force  where I worked as Physical Education instructor.  I've been a part of Jcc for four years. I work as a Certified Personal Trainer, boot camp instructor and floor attendant.  In my spare time I love to play soccer. It has been my pleasure to be a part of the Jcc family. My goal is to serve and see the changes I can make in people lives.
