Born Matthew Miller, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Matisyahu grew up in White Plains, NY.  He grew up in a household learning traditional Jewish values in Hebrew School and in Synagogue.  However, as he entered his teen years, he began to rebel against these traditional values and even dropped out of high school.  By the age of 16, Matisyahu started to find his way back to his Jewish roots.  Seeing the void in himself, Matisyahu left White Plains for a camping trip in Colorado.

Preva at the JCC

Back in March, our Fitness Center received a face lift. Walls were painted, new mat flooring was installed, and the Next Generation of Precor Cardio Equipment was moved in!

Our members are experiencing the great enhancements Precor has created in their new line, and also Internet Capability.  A member working out has the luxury of watching the news, movies, or educational program to make them more fit – the exerciser can now download their routines and stats for a given workout to their smart phone via PREVA.
