Camp Ruach to Hold Open House
JCC Camp Ruach in Bridgewater will be holding an Open House Monday, December 4 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Camp Ruach is located on 14 acres at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC), located at 775 Talamini Road in Bridgewater. Camp Ruach Staff will be providing tours, and the community is invited to attend. New registrations for JCC Camp Ruach will save $150/camper. Families that have decided on a JCC Camp Ruach program for their child may register online at jcccampruach.org and do not need to attend the Open House in order to receive the savings. JCC Camp Ruach runs from June 25 through August 24, offering programs for campers ages 15 months through 9th grade. Camp Ruach has three swimming pools – indoor and outdoor – four sports fields, climbing wall, bouldering wall, high and low ropes courses, mini-golf course, great indoor facilities including a gymnasium, enclosed game room, weekly entertainment and much more. Activities include Swim Instruction, Karate, Archery, Zip Line, Sports, Gymnastics, Arts & Crafts, Musical Theatre, Cooking and Weekly Entertainment. Two programs are offered for campers entering grades 7 – 9: Road Rulz Teen Travel (day trips and overnights); and Sababa (two day-trips/week and three days at camp). The Leadership in Training Program (LIT) for Grades 8 & 9 combines learning to be a leader in the community through community service and learning to work with campers. Camp Ruach will coordinate with individual ESY programs to accommodate schedules. Programs are available for campers with special needs (please call for intake process). Specialty camps offered throughout the summer including the week of August 20-24 for ages K-6 offering numerous options. Age appropriate post-camp program available for campers ages 3-5 August 20-24.
