P90X – 45 DAYS IN AND FANTASTIC RESULTS!
Eight participants – 90 Days….and lots of hard work and sweat.
Our P90Xers are over the half way mark of this remarkable new program here at the JCC. The P90X fitness program, which started on April 3, has brought the lives of eight JCC Members together to work toward their fitness goals.
Through small group personal training sessions, group fitness classes and nutritional counseling, this group is ready for summer… almost.
With one more intense phase to go, all participants are pushing hard to make their individual goals by July 1. Here is what they have accomplished so far:
Brooklyn has dropped her body fat percentage by 11. Grinder has lost 18 lbs and body fat percentage is down by 5… while Hash Brown, GSDBondGirl and Summer Ima Reddy have all lost nearly 2 inches per body part (stomach, thighs, arms etc.) That’s amazing!!!! Getting it Done, Zai201 and Debbie have also seen the pounds and inches slipping away as well.
Phase 3 is the final phase in P90x, where participants must push harder, lift heavier and push their cardio-vascular system to the limits. While eating a healthier diet, their daily consumption of proteins, fats and carbohydrates need to be “dialed in”, so that each has more energy and sufficient strength to get them through this final phase.
