Artist of the Month: Wendy Erdman

mosaic-imageMeet our Artist of the Month for May.  Wendy Erdmann graduated from The Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in painting and art education. Wendy has been making mosaics professionally for the past 15 years. She has created private and commercial installations, back-splashes, murals, mirrors, signs, hearths and small functional pieces. Wendy has extensive experience working with all types of mosaic styles, materials and techniques including large and small scale works. Currently residing in Whitehouse Station, NJ, Wendy teaches art at a private school in Princeton. Wendy can be contacted for residential and commercial commissions at dunegrassmosaics.com

All of her pieces and installations are one of a kind made from a variety of hand shaped glass or tile glued to light weight bamboo, wood, MDF board or concrete. All of the designs are original. The platters are functional and can be used for serving food or simply for decoration. They are easily hung on a wall or used as a table accent. Mirrors come ready to hang.
