P90x-ers Going Strong
On Wednesday, April 3rd , Eight JCC Members enrolled in our very first session of P90X. All participants had specific goals in mind and were determined to reach them by the end of a 90 day period (July 1st).
Body Statistics, Measurements, and “Before” pictures were taken on Day 1. A FaceBook Group was created in which all 8 participants, trainers, and nutritionist could communicate their successes, questions, thoughts, while also motivating others to stay “strong” till the end.
All participants took on a pseudonym and we are proudly displaying their results on a bulletin board outside the fitness center. At our First Mile Stone, “Grinder” Lost a total of 12 lbs! Congratulations Grinder! The Next Mile Stone is coming up on May 15th (Day 45).
P90Xers will have their Body Stats, Measurements and “Half-way” pictures taken. The question is who will be the winners for our second milestone? To be recognized at each milestone, participants need to display either significant weight loss, loss in body inches, or greater than a 2% decrease in Body Fat percentage. However, P90X is not a contest, it is a 90 Day Fitness Program where success is GUARENTEED. The milestone recognition is to keep motivating our participants! They are all moving along the same journey and all will be winners in the end.
