Influenza activity continues to escalate in the United States as the country continues to experience high levels of influenza-like-illness (ILI). The Federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC) continue to recommend influenza vaccination for people who have not yet been vaccinated this season. The Bridgewater Township Division of Health continues to offer all adults in the community seasonal influenza vaccinations. The following seasonal influenza clinic dates have been scheduled for individuals 18 years of age or older. These immunizations will be provided in partnership with the Community Visiting Nurses Association.

The CDC has reported that the single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year. Influenza vaccine may also be readily available at local pharmacies and your private physician’s office. Influenza vaccination for the Township’s program will be on a first come first serve basis based on the availability of vaccine. Please call the Division of Health at 908-725-5750 or inquire by email at health@bridgewaternj.gov for further information on influenza vaccination and additional ways to protect yourself against influenza-like-illness.
